Protectowire Fire Control Systems - Graphic Annunciator
Protectowire Fire Detection System
Graphic Display Panel
The PLD Series Graphic Annunciators, provide easy identification and location of fire and other system related events on a custom floor plan display. The graphic display helps to pinpoint alarms quickly, since no time is wasted in deciphering written labels. Light emitting diodes (LED’s) provide individual remote indication of the system’s status and specific zone alarm, trouble or supervisory indications.
The PLD Series Annunciators are designed for use with Protectowire ACR-1600 and FS2000 Series Fire Control Panels. The Annunciator uses 24VDC operating power from the Protectowire Fire Control Panel, and will utilize the Control Panel’s standby batteries during loss to normal power. The ACR-1600 Series Control Panels, provide a high-going output signal from the Control Panel’s lamp drive circuit to activate the corresponding annunciator LED (or LED’s) behind the graphic display window. In FS2000 Series Panels, annunciator signaling is initiated through individual relay contacts or special annunciator interface module(s), which must be ordered as part of the Control Panel.
Graphic Annunciator Features

These units, which are designated by the PWT model numbers, are housed in a rugged 16 gauge steel enclosure, dip primed and finished in a crinkly taupe enamel. The door has a continuous 1½ inch close-cell neoprene gasket, and the annunciator window opening is sealed by using the Scotch VHB Joining System.
