Kidde SmartOne Smoke Detector
Intelligent Smoke Detection
Note: Intelligent Fire Alarm and Addressable Signal/Sounder Module is pictured at right.
The SmartOne Series of Intelligent Fire Alarm devices provide the FenwalNET 2000 with smoke and heat detection and necessary monitoring and control functions required by today's advanced Fire Alarm Systems.
SmartOne Smoke and Heat Detectors
Analog-addressable. Ionization, Photoelectric and Heat Sensors with continuous sensitivity monitoring/control facilities. Automatic drift compensation, distributed intelligence architecture, featuring an intrinsic microprocessor with 4k on-board memory; storing and analyzing calibration data and pre-alarm/alarm values. Field programmable, electronic addressing. Low profile and aesthetically suitable for commercial, industrial or institutional interiors.
SmartOne Addressable Contact Input Devices
This device allows interfacing to typical N.O./N.C. fire alarm devices, such as water flow and tamper switches to the FenwalNET 2000 System. The contact monitor is also used to interface to the Manual Alarm, Manual Release and Abort Stations.
SmartOne Addressable Relay Output Device
This device provides the FenwalNET 2000 System with a Form "C" dry contact interface for remote control applications.
The SmartOne™ Addressable Signal/Sounder Module (ASM) is a UL Listed field device. This component is an intelligent field device that contains its own microprocessor, 4K of memory, and all necessary electronics to provide standard notification or audio output. Connection is via the SmartOne-compatible control panel's power/communication line.
The module is fully supervised and continuously monitors the integrity of the following: contact position; power/communication voltage; internal power supply; memory status; and device/panel communication.
