Introducing the new WHDR-400M Cylinder. Designed with a capacity of four-gallons and 12-flows, the WHDR-400M matches the coverage and piping ease of the WHDR-400S and the WHDR-400L cylinders that are currently offered by Kidde Fire Systems.

Weighing less than the 400L, and providing a better center-of-gravity, the WHDR-400M is easier to install than the larger systems, especially in applications were mounting must occur in high places or on a ceiling.

In addition, the decreased height of the WHDR-400M, with only a small increase in depth, will allow for easier planning and execution of fire protection in typically busy and crowded commercial kitchens.

The WHDR-400M will fit into most end-cabinets that are now being installed on the ends of commercial kitchen canopies, making it easy to keep the fire protection cylinder concealed. This is especially important in high-tech kitchens that are open to the public area of the restaurant. The WHDR-400M uses the same Kidde-reliable valve as does all of the cylinders of the WHDR, IND and KVS systems. The valve is a brass-alloy, nickel plated forging, trusted world-wide for over thirty years. Coupled with the XV Control System, the WHDR-400M System provides:
